Lighting solutions
The marking of heliports and helipads is a crucial element in ensuring safe landing and take-off conditions, especially in night or adverse weather conditions. AIP offers high-performance recessed lights, such as the HFTR model approved by the STAC (Civil Aviation Technical Service). These lights, which comply with international regulations, are equipped with LED technology that offers high light output, low energy consumption (8W to 19W depending on the colours), as well as a lifespan of more than 80,000 hours. They are used to mark critical areas such as the TLOF (Touchdown and Lift-Off Area), the FATO (Final Approach and Take-Off Area) and taxiways).
Heliport lighting systems
AIP also installs windsocks and perimeter searchlights for heliport platforms. The windsocks, approved by the STAC, are available with 7.40 meter tilting masts and are equipped with wind vanes to indicate the wind directions. The lighting of the sleeves is provided by LED headlamps, guaranteeing excellent visibility of the indicator, even in low light conditions. The peripheral floodlights, on the other hand, ensure good visibility of the approach and traffic areas, thanks to their anodised aluminium housing, their high weather resistance (IP66), and a stable 230V AC power supply.
Technical expertise and regulatory compliance
AIP ensures that each facility meets the strict standards imposed by ICAO and STAC, ensuring full infrastructure compliance. The company adapts its solutions to the specificities of the sites, whether for ground or rooftop helipads, thanks to flexible and sustainable systems.
Maintenance and related services
In addition to design and installation, AIP offers preventive and corrective maintenance services to ensure the longevity of equipment. These services include monitoring lighting and lighting systems, checking LED performance, as well as rapid interventions in the event of malfunctions. The company also provides spare parts and technology updates to ensure that the infrastructure is always state-of-the-art.
AIP Airport International Provider stands out for its complete solutions that comply with international standards for heliports and helipads. Through the integration of advanced technologies, such as high-power LEDs and robust and durable equipment, AIP ensures the safety, reliability and efficiency of platforms, contributing to the operational excellence of aviation infrastructures around the world.
